Malaysia plays host every two
years to Asia’s largest and most important tri-services
defence show known as the Defence Services Asia or DSA series.
Since it’s inception in 1988, EPAPR has promoted this
successful exhibition and conference for its organisers, DSA
Exhibition and Conference Sdn Bhd.
The success of the four-day event is reflected in its
growth in little more than a decade to its present status as
the second largest tri-services defence and government
security show in the world. |

| In 1997 Eastman
Chemical Company assigned an executive from its
Kingsport,Tennessee, headquarters to its Singapore regional
headquarters to be the acting director of corporate
communication for the Asia Pacific.
The American was charged with locating and training a
corporate communication professional from the region to
replace him within nine months.
Eighteen months later a suitable candidate had not been
found and EPAPR’s associate Hong Kong company, Eric Pringle
Associates Ltd, recommended that the EPA Group operate
Eastman’s Asia Pacific corporate communication function on an
outsourced basis.
Eastman agreed and EPA moved a senior executive to Eastman
Chemical Asia Pacific’s Singapore regional office in January,
1999. |
